Thank you fellow bloggers!

I was so amazed at the amount of blogs over at the sew mama sew blog day giveaway!  If you haven't checked it out you better head on over. www.sewmamasew.com The items being given away vary from fabric to clothing to jewelry and everything in between.  I had a migraine yesterday so spent most of the day in my chair vegging out and checking out the blogs.  Everyone is so generous!  I found many blogs that I wasn't already following and that I am in love with.  A lot of overseas blogs as well.  Reading about sewing and crafting in other countries is always fascinating. I really hope to participate in the next giveaway day they host.  Until then I will be having a giveaway on my own.  I will be interviewing the fabulous Terri Allred from Fairytale Frocks and Lollipops and as part of that interview there will be a great giveaway.  So keep an eye out for the post next week it will be exciting!

On another note I have been busy busy working on a quilt for a wonderful boy who lost his brother after a 14 month battle with a brain tumor. This has been a work in progress for quite some time but I was finally able to finish up the quilting so all I have left is the trimming and Binding.  Photos to come within the next few days I hope.

Kona Goodness from the Sew Fantastic Blog

Wow.  I have really started to realize how many generous people there really are out there.  I have started following a lot of sewing, crafting, fabric and misc. blogs that interest me. Through all the blogs I always find many other delectable blogs that I must follow and with those blogs comes giveaways!  I have had the opportunity to enter many giveaways, most as simple as just entering a comment on the blog or following their blogs. All of the blog writers choose fantastic items to give away!  Seriously fabulous.  Sooo this bring me to tonight.  Its been a cruddy day for me, gloomy and rainy.  I sat down for a break and opened up my blog dashboard to see what was inspiring on the blogs.  Of course when I saw a winner was announced on Terri's blog Sew Fantastic ( www.sew-fantastic.blogspot.com ) I just had to see who the lucky winner was.  161-Christine, well it had to be a different Christine for sure, so I searched the entries and low and behold it was me!
